There is presently uncertainty about where the Saturday Games hosted by Marquette will be played. Keep an eye here and on the Marquette lax website for updates.

I do not know what things are like in Stevens Point, so any one with knowledge, feel free to post here....

The games on Saturday will not be played at Milwaukee County Sports Complex. I have tentatively scheduled them to be played at the same times at Valley Fields, but that is not 100%. I will update this as soon as I have more information.

Doesn't everyone just love weather in the Midwest

As of right now our fields in Point do have snow on them and it is still snowing but we are seeing if it will melt in time for the games this weekend and we do have back up fields lined up just in case.

I know I speak for all the teams playing at Marquette this weekend when I say that Panchito did a great job coordinating the field space. The communication was excellent. Thanks again for all the hard work.

Games at Marquette

The games at Marquette this weekend are going to be held. The times are the same as listed in Sam's post. However ALL GAMES WILL BE AT VALLEY FIELDS NOT MILWAUKEE COUNTY SPORTS COMPLEX.

Sorry for the yelling :D , but I want to make sure everyone knows what is going on. This is a turf field, so be certain to bring turf shoes (it is the old Astroturf, not the new field turf).

If you have any questions check the Marquette website http://www.marquettelacrosse.net. Otherwise, send me a PM or email me at fmojeda@gmail.com and I will respond as soon as I can. I do have a full time job so if I do not respond immediately be patient, I will respond within a few hours.

Thanks for your patience.

There have been some questions to the condition of the field. I can tell you this. It has been plowed as of today, so there is no snow on it now, but there was so obviously the turf was wet.

Tomorrow's forecast calls for the temps to be in the mid 40's. This ought to dry it out some, but I am not sure it will be completely dry. I would expect the conditions of the field to be slick. Please take the appropriate pre-cautions. I have advised all the contacts for each team about this as well, but please spread the word.

For the games in Point.... the snow is melted off the field for the most part and the sun today will finish the rest off and the morning tomorrow will help dry them more. The field will be soft and kind of moist but not mud. The teams coming its the original field and not a different location. Any questions email me at point_lacrosse@yahoo.com and I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks and good luck to everyone this weekend.
