It'll be a good game tonight at St Thomas. Second time I've seen the U this year, and my first time seeing the #1 Tommies. 30 degrees at game time on April 4, wind chill in the single digits? I love spring!

Hooray for indoors!
Should be an interesting game tonight. We'll find out how far that #1 Division B ranking takes you into Division A. The Gophs can play with some of the better teams in the country, as seen in the Chris Jenkins Tourny. I think St. Thomas will have the edge mentally, as they have more to prove and the Duluth game looms for 'Sota this weekend. Depends on how Coach Hurley treats the game and gets his team ready to play. My prediction is that the U defense will hold and the Liberia/Bice attack combo will prevail on O. (but hey I'm biassed)

I think Fleck has the score right.
Congratulations to St. Thomas on the win, they took our best shot in the first quarter, and took control of the game after halftime.
Pete, Jim, and the rest of the coaching staff is really doing a great job.
I hope you take this momentum all the way to Dallas, and bring home the UMLL's first National Championship.
Best of luck the rest of the season.

Way to go, Tommies!
I was warning my UofM friends that UST was for real...and Gierl, nice call on the upset victory.
Those who saw the game, would the result have been different if Libera was healthy?

Both UST and UMN came ready to play, and I was happy with how many people filled the 'Tonkadome to watch the game, despite the late-change in location. I counted at least four UMLL teams that were represented in the crowd, a couple guys made the trip I spoke to in the parking lot came from as far as 100 mi north... Not bad for a Wednesday, rescheduled game.
To be honest, I'm suprised the score was not higher... A few goals called off, and a few crosse penalties made it more interesting.
UST was crisp; handled ground balls well and clears were clean. They're #1 for a reason, and the rest of the teams on their schedule had better do their homework.
UMN held the zone very well the first quarter... They played strong the whole game. Their defense was quick and the keeper made some great saves. Both teams deserve positive recognition.
All in all, it was a game I'm glad I attended. Congrat's to both teams, because not a soul left unentertained.

Thanks Adam, that was a great game. That first quarter was about as exciting as it gets. The U is a great team. They push the ball well in transition and at times we could not get the ball out of the defensive end. There were some huge hits, mostly with UST on the recieving end. Nice job, Good luck the rest of the season.

The U had a some major trouble finishing on the doorstep. Lots of dropped passes on the crease, 2 goals called off, one for an illegal crosse and another for an interference call. In the first quarter the U hit a lot of pipes. The game was a lot closer then the score shows. Very entertaining to watch.

I know there was some confusion about when/where EC and Carleton were going to play. What's the final call on location and time?
