Friday night's Wheaton vs Bethel game will be played at East Grand Rapids's Mehney Field, which is located between the middle school and fire department.

For all those who got their first exposure to lacrosse through the movie American Pie, EGR is where the writer went to school and the lacrosse team it's based on. It was my team back in '91-'93 that went to states with the person Chris Klein's character was based on, oh the memories. You should have seen the real Stifler's mom . . .

Moorhead 10
NDSU 4

Nice rainy conditions at Dacotah Feild. Soild game on both ends. Moorhead came out flat and took a 2-1 lead into half time. After the break moorhead came out and wasted no time and quickly added 2 goals to make it 4-1 NDSU came back to bring it to 6-3 towards the end the dragons added 4 more. Great game NDSU had some great players marked by some great coaches.

Offical Score from the swamp like conditions at Dacotah Field.

St. Thomas 16
Moorhead 3

The temp was cool at the start of the game and no rain seemed likely. St. Thomas started the scoring off takinga 1-0 lead into the mid first period. Moorhead countered and made in 1-1. Half time came with a 6-3 score as well as the down pour that occured. After half moorhead failed to get many offensive oppurtunities and St. Thomas did a good job keeping the momentum and the ball for the rest of the game. St. Thomas were great sports and it was nice to play against a high quality team. Well respected.

Congrats to UND on its first victory.

Second, Due to the nasty and unfortunate weather the St. Johns v.s. Moorhead game is cancelled.

Our field was a swamp. No lines were visable, There was 0% visability, Mark and St. Johns guys could not get into moorhead. Through the grape vine i heard many multiple car pile ups along 94.

Game is in the works to be rescheduled

Safe travels back to the st. johns players and Coach Hellenack.
