SLU 7
Wheaton 6

Wheaton is an excellent host and I would recommend that more people travel up to Wheaton to play some games.

SLU played a much better game in the afternoon, also not earning over 16 minutes of penalties helped.

I agree with Matt. Wheaton is a very good group of guys. Their facilities are great.

Good luck to Wheaton and SLU the rest of the way!

From Omaha:

USD-8
UNO-3

Both teams were very short on guys due to the short notice of rescheduling the game for sunday. I can't speak for UNO but we had 19 guys for the games on Saturday, but due to the rescheduling only had 13 for Sunday. Thanks to UNO for working to get their facility in time. They are much improved from last year and I think they will surprise some teams.

I want to thank everyone who has traveled to Wheaton so far this year.

We had to work out a few first game kinks against Grand Valley (L, 7-14). Since then we have lost three straight heart breakers against good teams: Ferris State (L, 4-5); Augustana (L, 12-13): SLU (L, 6-7). All three of those games have had goals in the last 3 minutes and have been rough on the team. We're hoping that this week we'll be able to turn things around with games against Pacific Lutheran, Bethel and Calvin.

For next spring, we are always open to anyone who would like to come up and play. Send me an email or visit our website if interested. Thanks again to all the teams who have made the trip up here and we hope to see you back again soon.
