I would be fairly surprised if Oregon did not go 3-0 on their trip. No discredit at all to the AZ teams, but I think Oregon is playing the whole season with a PNCLL chip on their shoulder. It really does look like they've put together an awesome team this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if, given their level of play this year, Colorado goes 0-3. They may be able to make some of the games close, but if their early games are any indication, I think the two AZ teams will handle them fairly solidly.

It's my early prediction that by the time nationals roll around, CU will be out of position for an at-large bid.

I'm wondering, what do you mean by that?! They are mad that they have to play in the PNCLL...?

Please get it right, it is UO, we are not Oklahoma. It is annoying that all across the country it is barely said right cause half the people in this country don't even know where Oregon is or should I say where Orygun is.

I agree. Who has seen Colorado play? Can someone comment on what type of team they are? All most of us can do is look at a box score.

Thanks

I just mean I think they're out to prove something. It would be since before my lacrosse memory (maybe some old folks or historians could help) that a PNCLL team has been on top of the rankings.

SFU was the last PNCLL team ranked in the top 10 before Oregon. I believe that was 2004, the year they knocked off Colorado in STL.

Oxy Beat UCI, which means a 3 way tie in the North Division

All three teams played each other to one goal differences, so if i understand the tiebreaker correctly, it would resort to in division goal differential.

Should make for some interesting games, with teams incentivised to blowout their competition in order to make the playoffs

After playing Oxy, Pepperdine, and Irvine last week; I would say that the WCLL-B is the most evenly matched conference from top-to-bottom. I was really interested in last night's score, after playing both teams and realizing that a 3-way tie would be possible. It will be interesting to see how things play out...

The WCLL-B obviously lost strength when San Diego and Claremont moved to the Division-A ranks but the teams we played last week have been the most fundamentally sound teams that we have faced so far this season.
