I'll chime in on the freshman class. We have a huge freshman class this season, 14 including 5 that rotate as our starting defensive unit. We also have a starting freshman attackman in Charlie Ellis from St. Ignatius SF and a starting freshman midfielder, Greg Croak, from Nobles and Greenough in MA who are seeing quality minutes and producing much needed offensive points. Add to that mix, 2-3 freshman midfielders on the third line that haven't seen much field time this season and Santa Clara is well groomed for the next few years.

Eric Nelson and Ryan Westfall on ASU are just plain dirty for two freshman. They are going to be scary good.

Anthony LaFlam, who has 10 goals and 3 assists in ASU's 7 games is also a freshman. Given ASU's schedule, that's a pretty good total.

UCD has a really good recruiting class:
Zach Bluth has 9 goals and 2 assists, and plays both ends extremely well (this kid is a ground ball machine with a motor for days).
Jules Houts has 13 goals and 8 assists.
Josh Rottman has 15 goals and 6 assists.
These freshmen have been vital to our offense. Also, in the next few years look for Andy Marell to be near the top of the WCLL goalies...the kid has ridiculous skills.
