Northeastern vs MIT was rescheduled for last Wed.
NU 6
MIT 3
NU led 6-0 with five minutes left in the game. With our bench cleared, MIT was able to create a few costly turnovers that led to one on one's with our goalie. Overall, we played very well, got some of the rust off and we're looking forward to the warm California weather.

Any way we can get scores of the Northeastern game posted in real time like the UNH/Georgia Tech game last week?

It was a good start for us. We were able to get into rhythm a lot quicker than expected given it was our second time outdoors( first being a running time scrimmage with MIT). We still had some sloppy play as we were a bit rusty in the long passing, clears and rides, but out starter only let up 4 goals. They scored the final two against our bench. We're looking forward to continuing this momentum through the week and hope to bring some of this gorgeous weather back to New England.

Good one Dan! But did you know that Ron Borges is (or was) a lacrosse player? Ron played defense on the Sacramento Lacrosse Club in the early '80s, along with Westminster Head Coach Mason Goodhand and yours truly...
By the way, to all the Rams looking ahead to their outdoor game against Texas Tech here next Wednesday night on UW's regular home field: Last week it snowed. Yesterday it was 68 degrees. No, that is not a typo. Another Seattle weather record in a winter full of them. Today it is mild but raining. Long-range forecast for next Wednesday calls for showers and a high temperature of 48 degrees, but as we here know this forecast is meaningless. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best is the smart policy. Whatever the weather is, however, the FieldTurf plays fast regardless. I'm looking forward to working the table crew on this game, and hopefully to phone in Live Action Reports.

It was a very hard fought game, with the winning goal being scored with 1:17 left. San Diego never gave up and continually clawed their way back into the game. It was a good test for us and we look forward to playing AZ this Sunday.
