i agree for the most part, but I wanna switch

Arkansas- Baylor

I also want to wish luck to the Nebraska guys. This first weekend could be a little indication to the progress you said you made in the off-season

Having played North Texas several times within the past few years, I'd say UNT- Arkansas

Nebraska 13
UNO 3

Sloppy start to the game, ball was on the ground a lot. Have to give credit to UNO, they played hard the entire game with limited subs. Nebraska Held the ball and slowed it down for almost all of the second half. Half time score was 8-2

From St. Louis-
Fontbonne (NCAA-DIII)- 16
Missouri State 6

Score was 6-4 at half but the Griffins took control of the ball and the game for most of the 2nd half. Thanks to Coach Silva and his team for hosting!

The Griffins scored only 2-3 goals in settled offense. Missouri State looked real good in the first half but looked tired as the game ran on and Fontbonne ran line after line at them.

very safe assessment of the game Corbin, and having only 19 players dressed for the game would support such an evaluation

Safe? Dont know about safe. Some parents sitting behind me (I was on the Fontbonne side) were saying that if MSU had some more players it would be a very interesting game.

Just an observation - everyone on the message boards provides very "PC" evaluations of games. No one comes out and says what they are really thinking about stuff. Guess all that stuff is saved for scouting reports. Just an observation from someone who does post "PC" reports.

Unofficial score from the LSA Board...

UNT 15
Arkansas 8

I make no promises that the score is accurate.

I want to give major props for the cornell goalie. He did an absoluty outstanding job. Out of 36 shots ON GOAL, he had a fenominal 29 saves. If he keeps playing like he did against us, he'll definately keep his team in some seious games. Watch out for him, he has really quick hands and feet.

So, were he not in goal, all 29 of those shots would have scored??? How many shots did Nebraska have in this game??? 36 total shots is on the high side for a normal lacrosse game.

Saves are not calculated by subtracting goals allowed from shots taken.

If he stops a shot that would have missed the goal, it's not a save.

I don't doubt that he played remarkably well (phenomenal is the correct spelling) and left a great impression on you. I do doubt the save number you report.

Nope. Those were actual saves. I didnt take in account the shots that didnt hit cage. We had a ton of ball possesion and high percentage shots, but he just stepped it up majorly and performed beyond our expectations.
