Looks like Michigan defeated Arizona 12 - 1 tonight in Tucson. That is a very suprising score.

That Miami/Auburn game looks really interesting...it should shape up to be a real barnburner. Miami is one of the real "comers" in the MDIA and this is their chance to show that they compete on the national stage. On the other hand, Auburn will be trying to reassert its hegemony atop the SELC. Message to Miami-- Keep an eye out for Auburn's pole middie Scott Marshall. He's got one hell of a stick

Miami may be a comer but they sure laid an egg against Lindenwood. I nned to see a few more good results to believe they're for real.

Laxfan,

you are failing to take into account how good Lindenwood is. They have kids with some great talent, including most of the top recruits from ST. Louis. If you refuse to be convinced then that's fine. Miami IS A COMER.

Not that suprising

I find the scores to be not that suprising :!: I believe the teams in the south except for maybe 1 or 2 to be unbelievably  overrated. Their presence in the polls makes a mockery of the ranking system. they compile great records and get drubbed by the above average-highly touted northern teams. Missouri, Georgia, Arizona, all texas teams and the florida teams.

Two questions:

1) Is this Michigan's year? If they play like they did against U of A in their other big games, they could be scary.

2) What happened with the faceoffs in Mich/U of A? Broad was unstoppable in his first few games to the point of pure dominance. How did U of A turn it around on him? Maybe he had the flu or something.

Just so you know, you forgot to add:

3/5 Indiana vs. Minnesota (UMLL) (West Lafayette, IN)

and the 3/5 Indiana @ Purdue game was cancelled due to field conditions.

See the General Discussion Forum for in-game updates on the Michigan v. BYU game today. Updates will be coming by at least on the quarter, hopefully.
