Baylor got off to a strong start last weekend, will that help by having a game under their belt against what should be a pretty good SMU team this year?
TCU is jumping into the season both feet first with three games on the road the first two weekends of the season!
Texas State at Southwestern could a be good barometer for both teams to see if they are where they think they should be to start the year. Is this Coach Park's Texas State debut?

TCU plays 7 of their 12 games against Division A programs. I am quite curious as to how they will progress throughout the season. More immediate though, I would like to see how they regroup to play two more Division A schools after their loss to us. I expect they will get better each game. As for this weekend, it may be a tough go for them this weekend against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State on the road. As the Horned Frogs look to rebound, the Sooners and Cowboys look to get off on the right foot before heading into an extremely tough conference schedule. Should be two good games.
Texas State vs. Southwestern- this is the first game of the season for both teams and I expect they will come out gunning. Both team played well this Fall and have tons of talent so it could be a barnburner.
SMU vs. Baylor should be interesting. It is a huge division game early in the season.

My fault on the new topic, I forgot to post it in here. Again, Baylor loses a close one.....9-6
From the other post...
This game was intense from beginning to end. It was an extremely hard faught game from both teams. Baylor got as close as 7-6 late in the fourth but ultimately fell short in the end. This rivalry went up a notch in my opinion. It's great to see this competition in the LSA. Thank you to SMU for coming down to Waco and good luck the rest of the way. We hope to see you again in April

Any division game is a huge game, or at least it should be.

Looks like Baylor might be the "underdog not to be overlooked" this year.
Close game against what is expected to be a pretty good SMU team.
I hear SMU had 50-60 players at the game. Is that accurate? Sounds like a lot.

OU beat TCU 6-3 in what should be called the mud bowl. Strong play on both sides, TCU's goalie looked great too

I was at the game yesterday, and SMU had at least 40 players; Baylor had about 20 to 25 players. Both played hard and well which was indicative of the final score. Both teams' defenses played stellar and very tight. Two years ago on the Parker Intramural Field in Waco, SMU won, 9-8. Last year, SMU defeated Baylor, 15-2.

Congrats on your season opening win.
TCU is off to a tough start to their season but beginning the year with three road games is never easy!

SMU had right around 50 while Baylor had 17. It was a very good game
