just curious as to what peoples response may be on this topic. if i remember correctly Dunn won it last year (fittingly so). It seems as if this league is very wide open, with many teams competing for the top spot. so i would think it would be same way with the MVP

Maybe i am a little biased but i will give my vote to you mikie. can't count the number of times you saved our a**e* in the cage. Plus, i'm tired of all the scorers getting the credit around here.
Cheers up, I'm out

so i guess since 216 people are willing to view this topic and none willing to reply, that makes it unanimous, good to have that all cleared up

I haven't had the chance to see A&M, Tech or UT play yet so my opinion is a little skewed...actually I've only gotten to see UNT and TSU play in the A division, so my choices have to be the Yeagy/Saunders combo. It's a brave prediction, but those brothers know how to play...at least Kyle does anyways

Kurzweil from Tech has a good shot at getting it.

I think it is hard to pick one this year. It doesn't seem like anyone has stepped up.
Maybe we should give it to the guy with the most points on the first team from the LSA that beats a ranked OOC opponent!

I second that one.
Zach is pretty much the best goalie i've ever played with. He really knows what he's doing and i think that makes him a primetime candidate.

Zacharias is the god of all that is goaltending. And for you ladies he's not a bad looking guy either.

Might be the god of goaltending but the he's not bad looking is sort of taking it a bit too far.

I shall now start calling him Primetime. Or any other names that come to mind when I watch him play

Maybe, but I heard it from a guy who knows a guy... or something. I guess there's no recovering from that one.
"Primetime" , eh? Hmm....

Im going to have to back Mikey as well. He is the primary reason as to why Tx State has done as well we have. Without his skills in the cage, several games would have been lost to us, no question.
Goaltenders

That's interesting that the apparent front-runners this year are goal-tenders. I agree on TSU's goalie and Kurzweil as being the toughest in the league, especially Primetime, I think he deserves it for putting in 4 great years in the cage along with the great year he's having and Tech looks like the front-runner in the conference.

I would have to go with Zach as well. Every time i have seen him play, he has done nothing but stand on his head, make a great save. Not many LSA goalies can say that they beat A&M, but he can.
