What do think about these WCLL-A matchups...

Cal Poly vs Cal 1:00pm

Sonoma vs Cal Poly 3:00pm

Some of the lower ranked A teams will have a chance to show their stuff against proven A's...

SMC vs. Sonoma 12:00pm

Davis vs. Cal Poly 10:00am

And then a few other games of interest...

Nevada vs Stanford (teams have never played each other before)

Domincan vs. San Jose (Nor Cal club vs New WCLL-B addition)

Comments? Predictions?

I only know a few of the results. Sonoma crushed St. Mary's & Cal Poly beat Davis. Santa Clara won all 3 of their games, 6-4 over Cal, 9-4 over Santa Cruz & 12-3 over St. Mary's.

Was that 6-4 over Cal or Cal B?

According to the schedule up above, it looks like it was Cal.

Don't be surprised if Santa Clara is a much improved squad this year.

Yeah, they looked deep. I think that some of the mid-range A teams are going to take a step forward this year.
