Weber State hosted Utah state on wed. up on weber state campus. The game stared great with weber taking a 3-0 lead at the end of the first. at half time the score was 5-4. at the end of the third the game went to 6-4 weber lead but with two minutes left in the game utah states rally took the lead 7-6, weber tied the game on a last second shot to send it to overtime at that time utah state scored on there first time on offense of overtime to win 8-7. not bad for the first game of the year for Weber State! just thought I would let you all know we are out there! and we have another game with another new team on saturday when Snow College comes up to play us.

Thanks for the report Weberlax12. Hopefully, Weber and Snow College can get things together and join the RMLC/MCLA for next year.

Be sure to tell the folks at Snow College about this RMLC forum and the CollegeLAX site.

I will do my best to tell them all about it. and we plan on being in the league full time next year. we wanted to make everything work this year, and get money into the team so we dont have problems like the old weber team.

Congrats on your first game, you should post a roster I would like to see who you have out.

One of my players is at the College of Eastern Utah, the rumor is they are trying to start a team, perhaps you could scrimmage them. If you are interested I will try and get some contact info.

Wow the RMLC is sure growing. If metro gets their school to give them some help next year could bring 3 more teams into the RMLC. If this is happening is anyone concidering splitting the RMLC?? i know we now have the east west division but with 15 teams total thats quite large, with lots of traveling. Is anyone putting any thought into this??

I can imagine the RMLC B adding UCCS, Metro, Weber, Snow, and maybe others (Mesa State, Colorado Christian, Eastern Utah, etc). But at the same time I can imagine the RMLC B losing Westminster and maybe others.

If we just add a bunch of teams and don't lose anyone, maybe it's time for a conference split, but that may or may not interfece with the A divisions split or make a conference that doesn't have any A division teams. Another idea may be to form a C division, but you'd still have to travel to find the teams in your division.

thanks John! we should have had your old school. i think we will be better in the spring, we need to be! also you guys are also forgetting that Dixie State in southern Utah has a team with kids from slc area and out of state. my old northridge player setup the team down there so we will have a lot of teams coming in next year.

Wsu payed Snow College on Saturday winning 12-6. we had a huge mental break down and let them come back from a 8-1 halftime lead. i think i found a problem with our team, we will fix it though. it was a very rainy and mucky game in ogden on saturday.
