UNT Alumni Game

For some reason the alumni has been a little slow in reporting on the game this weekend so I'll give it a shot.
With graduation last year came five months of bravado. If I had a nickel for every time I heard, "Coach, we are going to win next year" I would be driving a Jag or an Audi.
The Alumni started off the game with a new formation on offense. Armed with seven guys they broke the ice and the game was on. Apparently, seven is legal in alumni games. 1-0 Bad Guys. They repeated this formation throughout the game.
Momentum eventually changed with the Good Guys taking a 4 - 2 first quarter lead on the strength of long pole play down low.
RD "Hot Sauce" had four goals on the game. Some of the rookies are still trying to figure out how he scored a Canadian off a feed from up top on the doorstep going the wrong way while eating a bowl of tapioca. I told them he's good.
Outside of RD, the alumni saw some spirited play from cup check Alonzo, shirtless Files, taped up Sones, the old double surgically repaired legs of the Godfather, and Etan Killer Yeagy. But the play of the day from the alumni was Mike Madano Carr's patented throat check/face mask takedown.
In the end, youth and transition would be the Alumni's downfall. Final score: 16-11 Good Guys. Better luck next year.
