I didn't attend, and did not hear too much - except for the following:
1. Mankato has apparently hired a new coach - 2X Minn. High School Championship winner (Blake) Hank Marotske. Good Luck to Hank, and welcome to the UMLL!
2. Univ of North Dakota can play and per at least 2 observers, should be ranked in the top 6 of the B division in a preseason poll.
3. St. Thomas split their team into 2, with an "equal split", so no one quite got a read on them. [ but perhaps this is not correct per Champ's comment below]
4. There were 3 teams undefeated after Saturday's games. Univ of Wisc, Club Laxers and (I think) the Mankato alumni team

As near as I could tell the St. Thomas split was not even....
Club Laxers over Bethel 18-3?
Club Laxers over St. Thomas 10-1 at half AKA when one of our middies got his leg broken. 11-3 final... (I think we played the "less good" half of the team, but not sure. Julius did not play against us)
Club Laxers under UofW madison 2-3. Would have helped if we had some more subs, and the refs weren't fantastic this game.
Weather held out, no rain on Saturday, and gorgous sunshine on Sunday.
Didn't hear any other scores.

UND came from behind and played Moorhead to a tie, i think it was 7-7. Thanks for havin us down there, Mankato. We weren't sure what to expect going down there but we were really pleased to come out of the weekend 1-1-1 and we're pumped for the regular season!
