Congratulations to Jon Provancher of Oregon State University and Curtis Manning of Simon Fraser University for making the USL MDIA Academic All-America Team.
We all know how good Jon and Curtis are ON the field. . .it's even more impressive to know they are equally talented in the classroom.
Congrats guys on a job well done.

Why are there no Div B winners? According to the standards, Albertson alone should have had 2 of them.
Or are those voted on as well? The site says 1st or 2nd team all-conferece selections with at least a 3.2 GPA.

The list appears to be very incomplete (there aren't any GRLC Division B players included either.)
I have been informed that the academic all-america list will be revised.

All I can say is don't shoot the messenger fellas!
If there are omissions, errors, etc. - Please follow-up with your conference director as noted at the top of the press release.
Thanks...

Not shooting the messanger, just wondering if they were voted on or not. Basically I wanted to know if I get the GPAs of two guys, will they be put on the list, or if it was a voting system.

Ther's no "voting" on academic AA's.
If you meet the criteria, you must submit a transcript by a set deadline.
The information and deadline come from the Awards chairperson to your conference director who should pass it on to each team's leadership.
