BSU Hosts 8th Annual Lacrosse Tournament (October)

BSU will be hosting its 8th Annual Lacrosse Tournament this October...

There will be 12 available slots for teams to play. Teams from the PNCLL, RMLC will both be invited, as well as any other teams willing to make the trip. This is a good opportunity for teams to get fall recognition as well as challenging teams from another conference.

Dates are still unclear for the tournament but the tournament will take place in October (more near the end of the month).

There will be two fields, a medical staff, officials and more.

With only 12 spots available it will be a first come, first serve basis, on which team will make to trip to Boise. I ask that you please RSVP for this occasion confirming that a slot be saved for a team, as well as a number count on how many teams will attend, remember a 12 max is the limit.

Each team will play 3 games with a possible 4th with a championship game to end the tournament.

As teams RSVP I will post who will be traveling to Boise for the this event.

Just like in the past registration for this event is $400 dollars for an entire team.

Please contact me if you are interested in this event...

So I was all excited to step in cage for Whitman this weekend at the Gem State tournament (I've been told their goalie is studying abroad this semester). I broke my collar bone in a tournament in McCall this August and am ready to get back in to the swing of things.

Then I find out that we play Montana in the first round. So it's not enough that I have to end my actual PNCLL career with an ass-kicking by the Grizz, but they won't even let me sneak back in for a weekend without giving me a piece of their offense. Gee, thanks guys.

Quick upset pick: Albertson over Idaho in the first round.

There were plenty of A team Grizz there. They had a good sized bench as well, and it seemed to me that everybody got a good amount of time. Maybe that's just because the team I was playing for was getting trounced.

They also lent Whitman some Mids and D-Poles for our game. Nice guys, class acts, glad they won.

How did that Idaho/USU game look? Did you play or do you have box score?
