Games are all on Saturday in Blaine I believe:

Jefferson vs Osseo
BSM vs TG
Edina vs Blake
Apple Valley vs AHA

4 Privates, 4 publics
All 8 metro area teams

I am personally excited, as well as Bryce Reme, to coach against old teammates and our alma matter in Jefferson. BSM vs TG in the private school match-up could be the best of the weekend. Look for AV to knock off AHA as my upset special.

Thoughts, predictions?

And importanly - there are UMLL alumni either head coaching or top assistants for 7 of these 8 HS's

In no particular order (and if I've missed someone - I apologize - this is off the top of my head - no slight intended):

Totino Grace - Justin Hoban (UST) HC, John Mezzenga (UMD) Assistant Coach (AC)

Osseo - J. Ericksen (UofM) AC

BSM - Colin Mulcahy (UMD) HC, B. Finnvick (UMD) AC, R. Horn (UMD) AC

Blake - Hank Marotske (UST) HC

AV - Ben Uzlik (UMD) AC

AHA - Eric Overman (UMD) HC

Jefferson - Scott Cater (UMD) HC

So all 8 teams have atleast one, thats awesome. I'd be interested in how many teams have atleast one coach who has won a title in either the UMLL or the H.S. level (in MN) or both.
