Future question
Just wondering your guys thoughts on how scheduling will go when WSU is reinstated? Whether its next year or not, do you think teams will have to take a 3 day weekend and play WSU, Gonzaga and Idaho? Just interested to see what people have to say.

You may, or may not play 3 games in a weekend. I have been at WSU when there have been games on Friday with double headers on Saturday and Sunday. I would suggest writing to Prof. David Schmitz at Whitman and ask him what his thoughs are since he is the league scheduler.

The issue is that WSU and Idaho are 8 miles from each other, and Gonzaga is only 90 minutes away from either. BSU on the other hand is 5-6 hours from Idaho/WSU.

I know Boise is a long way from the other three schools but it is the most logical scenario. Teams from the West side are going to find it very difficult to get over for a Friday game followed by games on Saturday and Sunday. Not to mention that the following year they would have to go to the East side to play one game unless they can find a OOC or exhibition game to make for two games on the weekend.
This situation will most likely be discussed at the league meeting in Sept with the A teams voting on it or the entire executive will make the decision. Emailing Dave Schmitz will not get you anywhere as this is not a decision he can make alone.

Another interesting question... Will the players who participated for WSU during the last season lose a year of eligibility? If the league is consistent with previous rulings I would suspect that the players will in fact lose a year of eligibilty.

Why would I send Dave an email about a schedule that can not even be drawn up yet? I highly doubt Dave is going to sit down in his spare time and make a schedule that includes WSU when they have not even been accepted into the PNCLL.
This matter has to be discussed at the AGM before any one can answer this question. I do not see what you do not understand about that Lax_Stats.
