Eden Prairie (16-2) advances as does Benilde St. Margaret's. I don't recall the exact BSM/Minnetonka score but it was something like 12 or 13 to 1.

Eagan 8
Roseville 1

Game is not official however because of the weather that struck with 1149 to go in the 4th quarter. Can anyone explain what the weather rules are for playoff games?

Once play begins in the fourth quater, a game can be considered complete. This was confirmed as applicable in playoffs with the MBSLA president.

Given this information, the two coached agreed to consider the game completed at the point lightning caused suspension of play.

Would that rule stay the same next year when the playoffs are ran through the MSHSL? Anyone know?

I would expect that the MSHSL would follow the National Federation of High School Rules. The NFHS Rulebook Rule 3-5 says:

"If a game is interrupted because of events beyond the control of the responsible authorities, it shall be continued from the point of interruption unless there are conference, league or state association rules to cover the situation. Both teams are permitted to make roster changes. By mutual agreement of the opposing coaches and approval of the referee, any period may be shortened or the game terminated."

So the NFHS rules leaves the definition of a complete game as a local decision.
