It was great to see Montana take care of business today in Texas. . .I know Claremont is a really tough game, but it looks like Montana's offense is really firing on all cylinders right now. . .not to mention their defense, holding Southwestern to 2 goals through 3 quarters and Joe English getting a goal in the game.

Great job Grizzlies!! Good luck against Claremont tomorrow.

this will be a big big test for the griz. when we played claremont earlier in the year i was very impressed with their suffacating defense. they are a great team. i will be watching this game very very closesly. we lost to them earlier and western lost to them also. i won't say more than that about the scores of those games. myabe the griz will be the thrid charm against this wcll powerhouse. good luck griz and show everyone what the pncll is made of.

Grizzlies win!! Townsend Hall scores the last two goals of the game with 2:30 and :07 seconds remaining on the clock as the Grizzlies come back to win 11-10. . .

Townsend had 5 goals in the game, and the Grizzlies move on tomorrow to face the winner of the USD vs. Northern Colorado game.

Great job by the Griz!! I look forward to seeing some of Will Moss' photos up later today at www.grizlax.com. . .

Part of the Official Song of the
State of Montana

"Montana, Montana,
Glory of the West
Of all the states from coast to coast,
You're easily the best.
Montana, Montana,
Where skies are always blue
M-O-N-T-A-N-A."

Hats off to the Griz!

That song is hilarious...I don't think I've ever heard that. Great game by both teams today, Claremont played hard and with a lot of character. I was very sorry to be on the sidelines, but also very proud of my teammates for staying focused for the whole game playing from behind. We're pretty pumped for our re-match against USD tomorrow...thanks for the support PNCLL.

Griz go down 8-6. Great job though. I'm sure you represented the PNCLL well.

Well...I'm about dead after two really tough games against Claremont and USD. Both of those teams lived up to my expectations. We played well this tourney and certainly represented the PNCLL in some positive light...our last two games came down to just a few ground balls, maybe a faceoff or two, and a few missed calls (student coaches really just don't get any respect from the officials). Overall, we've had a great week and are already looking forward to next season...go get 'em Toreros.

A Hearty congratulations to Zack, Kevin and the Griz!!

While it may not be the ultimate prize, you guys definitely gained a lot of respect for yourselves and the league. To hang with a team like that for three quarters, in addition to some big wins, is very impressive. I am not sure how motivated the two teams would be, but I would love to see a Montana/Eckerd Consolation. The Tritons are definitely a team I underated all season.

Have a safe trip back home guys.

I know Montana turned a few heads this week, and many kept looking back into their programs to find out where this kid was from & what year they were in school. Congrats on the big season! You guys represented the PNCLL well, but more importantly you represented yourselves well and left it all out on the field. I hope you can get an OOC game with SD next year, and I hope I could be there to see the whole thing. Good job Griz!
