Final score from Eagan High School:
Eastview 7
Eagan 6
The two teams alternated goals in the first half with Eagan leading at the half 4-3. Eastview senior Matt Wagner tied the game quickly with a man up goal less than a minute into the third quarter. Eagan took no time scoring to retake the lead, but Eastview put in two in a row late in the third to take thier first lead of the game. The fourth quarter started with the score tied at 6 a piece. Eastview senior Brady O'Rourke scored his second goal of the night only minutes into the final period to take their last lead of the night. Eagan managed to keep the ball on offense for most of the remaining time. The young Eastview defense, lead by senior goalie Travis Luce, showed their true colors as they shut down countless scoring opprotunities by Eagan including a lunging kick save by Luce with under 3 minutes to play. A great game to watch with a thrilling ending, hopefully these two teams meet again in the playoffs.

Wouldn't it have to have been closer at the start of the game?

A few differences in my predictions:
Andover over Champlin Park by 5
Mankato over Hastings by 2
Minnetonka over Lakeville by 10
Buffalo over Irondale by 5
Eagan over Cooper by 10
Rochester over Prior Lake by 2
Woodbury over HM by 6
I know its still early, and there are mostly conference games left that will determine seeding, but looking over the bracket, and making educated guesses, it looks like Holy Angels and Blake will meet in the semi's and not the championship. The other bracket looks like a ridiculous battle with Osseo, Totino, Benilde, Eastview, and Eden Prairie all together.
Of course, there is always lots of room for upsets (Breck over EP after losing to Jefferson?), but a surprising number of seeds look locked up.
