Why is the Uconn vs. BU game...sorry about that!

The available time we had at WPI was at 2pm. Neither team felt they could bring their team there at that time, being it is finals week, etc. Since UCONN was the higher seed and their field was available, the game was switched there.

Tim Gray wrote:UMAINE was forced to forfeit games to Salem St and Framingham St b/c they did not have a coach or player acting as coach during the games played. In our bylaws, it states that if a team has neither of these, their game will be considered a forfeit. It was a decision that was made by the executive board, albeit a very tough decision. We never want these situations to effect the outcome of teams seasons, however we must abide by the rules we have and cannot make exceptions for one team when all other teams have followed them.
Unfortunately for Maine, this bumped Maine out of the playoffs and bumped New Haven into the playoffs.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS PLAYOFF SCHEDULE!?!?
IN TWO DIFFERENT AREAS YOU HAVE TWO DIFFERENT TIMES
IN THIS FORUM YOU HAVE THAT THE NU SEMIFINAL IS @ 9PM AND THAT THE UNH SEMIFINAL IS @ 7PM
ON THE MAIN PAGE OF THE PCLL WEBPAGE IN THE 2006 PLAYOFFS YOU HAVE THE NU SEMIFINAL @7PM AND UNH SEMIFINAL @9PM
IT WOULD BE GREAT TO KNOW WHICH ONE IS CORRECT!

THANKS FOR EXPLAINING THIS SITUATION

Yeah please tell me the NU game on fri is at 7pm because if we win thursday our bus is reserved for an anticipated 7pm start, which is what is on the league website. Plus you'd think new hampshire should play later considering they have the longest trip.

This is the updated schedule!! I placed the update on here bc I don't have access to change the website, and written in red so people would notice the change.

New Hampshire requested the 7pm time, and NU obliged.

UNH GAME IS AT 7PM
NU GAME IS AT 9PM

The new (and final) schedule has been approved by all teams involved and is now posted on the PCLL website under 2006 Playoffs.

Also, the information regarding the spring league meeting is posted there as well.

Sorry for the confusion, the time changes were out of our hands and the shuffle of games was done to make it easier for all teams involved. If you are unhappy with the current time the game you are part of or want to watch is, please understand it was done with the approval of the coaches and school administrations, not arbitrarily by the PCLL.
