I am not sure about the facilities (other than the games will be played on the soccer fields) and whether they will have stands/scoreboards/etc. Anyone with more info. on the Southwestern Univ. facilities should chime in.

monkeylax raised excellent questions, and I was furnished further information from Southwestern University to answer your questions:

For those who had played at Southwestern on its fields, the soccer fields on the other side of campus are much nicer and in impeccable shape. Both fields will have at least two sets of small bleachers. Lawn chairs, etc. are also fine to bring.

The two fields are side by side and tiered, with one field lower than the other. Boxes for teams will be in the middle with fans and bleachers on the outside of both fields. One field has a huge built-in scoreboard. The other field will have a smaller electric scoreboard for Saturday games. The finals will be played on the field with the large scoreboard.

To locate the soccer fields, go to the Southwestern University campus map where you will need to look at the upper right corner to find #24 (the varsity soccer fields) on the map.

There will be several porta potties and a short walk away behind the baseball stadium will be some bathrooms as well. A concession place will be set up between two fields with such items as water, some candy bars, etc. and the tournament t-shirts which will sell for $10 each.

There is parking close to the fields (less than a quarter mile from the fields in most cases, and in some cases, less). Team vans and buses will be reserved a place in the closest parking lot next to the softball fields.

Teams will be able to warm up inside the fenced softball area while games are going on Saturday and Sunday if needed.

Div. B Seedings:

#1 SU
#2 St. Ed's
#3 Trinity
#4 UTA

The seeding business is much easier when all the games are completed and played.

Right now, it may be 70% rain in Waco (1 1/2 hours north of Georgetown, TX) on Saturday, April 29. However, the weather may change quickly. Since it is only Tuesday, things may change when it gets closer to Saturday.

it's Texas-you can't talk about the weather until ten seconds before the faceoff-be prepared for anything-anyone remember '95 in Lubbock?
