I am wondering if ACE or shrekjr or anybody who knows what the playoff schedule is like for the THSLL playoffs for the North District, Central District, and South District. I went to www.thsll.org and noticed that the playoff games will start this weekend.

North District DII has quarterfinals this weekend, then the district championship next weekend in Shreveport.

Allen @ Plano East
Evangel @ Hillcrest
Coppell @ Captain Shreve
Greenhill @ Byrd

North District DI has playoffs Monday (Quar F), Wednesday (Semi F), and Friday (Final), seedings determined after tonights games, I think.

ESD over HP doesn't suprise me as much as Plano over St. Mark's. That opens up the D1 State Championship wide, since now the arguably two best teams in the state thoughout the year are out and I believe can not get the wilcard since they didn't make the district finals.

I do know that Austin High squeezed by McNeil 9-8 in D1 Central last night.

As for D2 Central, Stony Point upset 3rd seeded Leander and St. Stephen's defeated Texas Military Institute 7-6. There was some great coaching in that game. 8-)

That sets up Bowie vs Stony Point and St. Stephen's vs Central Catholic on Saturday, finals are on Sunday.

As for the South, I saw that Cy Fair beat SWLC 8-4 and Klein beat Klein Oak 8-7, so Cy Fair will play Klein for for the D2 South championship.
