Feel free to justify, but now we can count them up. The real question is, "which attackmen do you want to start your team with?" I may have missed several people, PM me if I did, but I believe several people such as Drake & Butterwegge played quite a bit of middie, and will be listed there.

I give my vote for Kris Olsen. He is, in my opinion the best attackman in the B div. His Goals and Assists are almost equal and he has improved every year since he started.

Cody carried our offense without much offensive help. He lead the conference in points per game, and was third in the nation in points per game. When other teams decided to double him or face guard him the entire game, he was still able to create a lot of opportunities for his teammates. If he played on a PLU or a Montana, his numbers would have been legendary.

Cody is a great attackman and somebody we voted for for 1st team, but if he played for us he wouldn't have half the numbers that he did for Albertson...he wouldn't have taken nearly as many shots.

I see your point.

But to be fair, Cody really didn't take an insane number of shots. His shot percentage was pretty incredible. You might agree that at Montana he conceded the fact that he was being D'd up very nicely, and did not take shots where he had little chance. He pushed the cage more often than he would like (but that's because nobody else was creating), and if he didn't have the look he dumped it back out.

Cody has one of the best quick sticks I've seen at our level in a long time. He is an excellent attackmen.

Cody Hart is certainly one of the best scoring 37 goals this year including one game where he scored 10. It is hard for me to say he is the best overall since I only saw PLU's Tkachuk once this season and he only scored 1 goal in that game. Tkachuk as you all may recall out scored ALL players this year in BOTH "A" & "B" divisions with 61 goals.

Tkachuk made me look like an idiot.

Blake, you were huge in goal for the Yotes this year and your contribution made a big difference to your team! A special thanks to both of your parents for their involvement with Albertson lacrosse!!

"t-chuck" certainly put up some impressive numbers this year, and no amount of speculating will change that. That said, he is a very simple player compared with a Hart or Hall. He's a lefty shooter, as I recall, and had a very tough day against us last weekend. From playing them twice, it seemed to me like he was a very good role player in a well fashioned offense but perhaps lacked some of the creativity and complexity presented by a smart, quick, savvy player like Hart. Like's been said, voting is an inexact science (follow politics, anyone?), but I felt it was done with an acceptable margin of error that could not reasonably be avoided. We had a great time in the league this year and are planning on representing it well next week.
