Utah definately sent a message that they are not going away quietly in Mase's last season. can they finally put one up against the Y? Will CSU/CU set a new RMLC attendance mark? The cheap beer will help.

BYU 16-6
BYU never trailed. Utah did fair in the 1st, but they fell into that same old rut. It seems like they play strong at first, but then realize that they are playing a team they have never beat, and fall apart. They could not get a ground ball to save their lives, and just made some stupid mistakes. It just seems like they have a mental block about BYU. I know they have the skill and conditioning to beat BYU, but they don't do it. Any thoughts? Does their out of conference performance get them into nationals? I hope so, because they are a good team that can beat some of the top 10 teams.

Todd I know you are a Utah supporter so I can understand trying to give them some credit for even being in the game through the first quarter but the fact is that they were never in it. BYU dominated from start to finish. The outcome was never in doubt.

It reminds me of how our football team can't seem to get by the Utes as of late.

I am not a Uf U supporter, as much as a supporter of lacrosse in Utah. Truth be told, I was rooting for both teams yesterday. Last year I leaned towards the U because one of my former players was there. This year I have none on either team. Next year I will be cheering for the Cougs because I will probably have two on. Yesterday I just wanted to see the underdog reach their potential and make a game of it. They moved the ball well and did a lot of things right until late in the first. I think it was kay that scored, and the rout was on. I have seen them play very good teams tight, but it seems to me that they choke against BYU.
