The UMLL standings can be found on www.uslmdia.org or http://www.umll.org/standings-uslmdia.c ... &uslmdia=1

Anyone have some time to throw together what could happen and play out with games that take place. By the looks of things the whole seeding picture is still up in the air until the remainder of the games are played.

The teams currently ranked 3-5 play each other this weekend which makes creating scenarios a mess - too many potential ties.

About the only thing certain is that Moorhead will be the #8 seed even if they defeat Minnesota and Duluth this weekend.

Why even have a tourney this year? UMD is a lock, no other team stands a chance. Moorhead should save some gas money and stay in corn country this weekend.

Maybe because there are teams other than Duluth that have something to play for?

I find Imperial Wizard's title repugnant.

I find his statements insulting.

Please know he does not speak for this program.

Maybe for some teams it's not about winning. Maybe some play for the love of the game. Maybe some play because they like to represent their school and show their pride.

Comments like yours, 'imperial wizard', give lacrosse players a bad name.

One thing Coach Graff exemplifies is his honor and respect for the game. I know for a fact that nobody would ever take imperial wizard's comments as coming from the Duluth team. I remember watching the UMD/UMN game and at no point did I see any lack of sportsmanship coming from the Duluth team.

I remember a game in 2004 where St. Olaf nearly knocked off Duluth. All it takes is one game. I think Duluth wins this year, but it could come down to one game.

I agree with uwec_attack. Some teams (like ours) play for pride and love of the game. It isnt all about winning. We just want to have some fun and play lacrosse.

Isn't the fundamental structure of most sports tournaments that they eventually come down to one game?

I agree with TexOle in that Coach Graff is a very honorable guy and has an enormous respect for the game. But, a little bird told me that during the game vs. UMN a Duluth player (who I will not name) ran past the U coaches taunting them after a goal, telling them to call a timeout because the game is out of control. Now I know that in every game there is bound to be trash talking....it can even add to the excitement for the players (especially in the UMN/UMD game), but it should never be directed at the coaches.

It's almost tournament time, so the trolls begin to stir.

The Imperial Wizard should change his handle.

I have investigated and confirmed that "IW" is neither a current UMD Player Nor a UMD Alumni nor in any way associated with our program.

As Coach Gamradt once taught me - don't feed the trolls, they just keep coming back.

Haha, I have yet to hear that comment in this forum. So true though.

I am sure you all know what the name "Imperial Wizard" means. The only three letters associated with the UMLL should be LAX not KKK. IW please never post again.
