Exciting final weekend for WCLL

The WCLL is going into the last weekend of play with 5 playoff spots to be decided. There are only 2 spots that are set CPSLO 1 central and SSU 1 north, and UCSB 1 or 2 in the L.A. Area.(assuming they beat USC)

Chico at UCD winner plays Poly loser is done.

Stanford at Cal winner plays Noma loser is done.

UCLA at LMU- UCLA win will get them in the playoffs with seed decided in game vs UCSB. LMU win would put them in the playoffs if UCSB beats UCLA. LMU win + UCLA over UCSB = 3 way tie.
(strange that Chapman is not involved)

UCSD vs. SDSU UCSD win + 11 goals will earn playoff spot.

UA vs. ASU ASU win = 1 seed in south UCSD 2 and UA out. UA win by more than 1 goal =UCSD 1 UA 2 ASU out. UA 1 goal win = goal differential vs. SDSU. ASU + 10 UA +10 USCD?

Tough spot for ASU win and you are the 1 seed lose by more than 1 and don't make the playoffs.

I think I have that all figured out maybe not. Point is there is a lot to play for this weekend and I can't remember a time when there were so many playoff implications on the last weekend.

My predictions for the first round of the playoffs

Chico at Poly

Cal at Noma

UCLA at UCSD

UA at UCSB

You made one rather large error above: If Arizona wins by more than one goal they finish #1 and UCSD is #2. Arizona would have the highest goal differential head to head.
UCSD can only finish #1 if Arizona wins by one v. ASU and UCSD beats SDSU by 10 or more. (10 goal margin will work for UCSD because UCSD has the tiebreaker v. common opponents).
UCSD is most likely going to UCSB for the first round.

I thought the head to head would come into play UCSD beat U of A.

All 3 teams 2-1 in division. All 3 teams 1-1 vs. each other. (assuming AZ beats ASU by 2 or more)

ASU.... +1 v. UCSD; -2 (or more) v. AZ= -1 or more
UCSD.. +1 v. AZ; -1 v. ASU= 0
AZ...... +2 (or more) v. ASU; -1 v. UCSD= +1 or more

AZ would have the tiebreaker (goal differential) head to head 3 ways. UCSD second, ASU out.
I'm getting dizzy trying to figure this out.
