Tickets for the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Showdown are now available for purchase both through Rock-it Pocket and through TicketMaster. They will also be available at the gate. If you would like to purchase tickets by credit card and avoid the $3 surcharge, please call me at Rock-it Pocket @ 1 (800) 374.7468 and I can ship them down to you.

Tickets will be $9 for adults and $6 for children (plus shipping costs). Rock-it Pocket will not take proceeds from this event outside of a $1 credit card processing fee. The rest of the proceeds will be going to the Colorado State Lacrosse Alumni Association. We are simply running the cards for them if needed.

Group discounts are available. Please call as soon as possible and we can ship down to you. The latest we can ship down to Denver will be Thursday of next week. Details of the event as follows:

5:00 pm - Cherry Creek HS vs. Denver East HS - These are two of the premiere high school programs in the state of Colorado. Creek is the reigning state champions and beat East in the quarterfinals last year.

5:00 - 6:30 pm - Local band Brethren Fast will play the pregame tailgate. Budweiser is sponsoring $1 beers at the tailgate and they will be selling concessions in the stadium as well.

7:00 pm or approx. 30 minutes after the high school game - Colorado State University vs. the University of Colorado in the third annual Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Showdown.

 Good to see that Anheiser-Busch is reaching out to their potential market.

Nothing like an ice cold Bud for all these HS players and their classmates! Not to mention all the under-21 college students.

If I tried this at my school I'd get immediately dismissed. If I did it without their blessing, I'd be hung from the nearest tree.

onpoint...The rockypreps.com website also lists the Heritage v. Kent game at Invesco Field that day. Do you know if that is accurate or if that game has been moved?

I think you got a good thing going here Alex. One dollar beers and lacrosse go great together.

Actually, it was the INVESCO people who came up with the beer thing. I do not think there is another game being played in INVESCO besides the Creek/East game. I'm 90% sure of that.

One dollar beers and any sporting event sound like a good time to me.
