Western Lax
As far as character and sportsmanship goes in the league my hat is off to Kurt from western and the rest of his team. After our game in gunnison my team was involved in a car accident due to weather, and Kurt and his team puts us up for the night after staying with us at the hospital for a couple of hours. They were all great guys and showed us a good time.

Thanks for the props. I am sure any other team would do the same thing I did and my team did in the case. It can happen to anyone anywhere at anytime. Accidents happen regardless of variable so I feel for you guys and hope you guys attend our fall tourny. Always a pleasure

Wow. I'm sorry to hear that Regis i hope evryone is Okay. I also have to give it up for Kurt he has taken Western to new heights. After 3 years of watching and learning the system from an adminstrative point of veiw he has Western pretty well organized. Being a full time student and running a lacrosse program can be very time consuming and i take my hats off to those div B teams who are in the same boat. It is my hope as a Western Alumni that he has had someone that has been watching his everymove and learning system and can take over for him we he leaves as when we left it to him. Keep up the good work!! Also the Alumni Association and Players are starting to organize the 4th Annual 2006 Western State Fall Classic. Any interested teams please E-mail Kurt. We are looking to host 8 teams this year in a tournament format guranteeing 3 games.

Good job Western State for taking care of Regis. I would like to stress to all teams to please take utmost care when traveling. MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE EVERY TIME. I know that CSM does not allow travelers to drive between 12am and 6am to prevent drowsy driving. Please always take care because we would all hate to lose a fellow laxer.
