ECU 19 NCSU 17

10-2 at halftime ECU.

NCSU scored 10 goals in the fourth to make the game close because of a weird, and ridiculous series of events that somehow ended up putting ECU 3 men down and NCSU 1 man down for 3 minutes, then when that was released left ECU a man down for another 3 minutes. It was easily the strangest game of lacrosse I have ever been a part of. Thanks to ECU for hosting us.

FYI...uslmdia.org has the score reversed. The scores by period are correct, but the final score is inverted.

Emory over Kennesaw State 14-8 @ Kennesaw State. It was 6-5 Emory at half, but that was the closest it was the rest of the game. It was a better showing than the last time we played them, so that's something.
Kennesaw State will be traveling up to play Furman on Sunday, should be a good game.

Final from Raleigh, NC

NC State- 9
GT- 8

The weather held up for the divisional match up between the Pack and the Jackets. Game was hard fought for all 60 minutes multiple ties and lead changes. Great game for the Jackets, thank you for making the trip to Raleigh.

First win for NCSU over GT since 2001. Congratulations to the Pack. Looks like GT will probably need to win (well, qualify first and foremost) the SELC to have a trip to Dallas. Maybe a very small outside chance at an At-large if they come up with a big win or two though in the tourney? We shall see.

Anyone got a score?

Elon- 4
SCAD- 3

Elon up 2-1 on SCAD at half, SCAD tied it up at 3 all after 3 quarters. With rain clouds nearly upon the game and thunder in the distance Elon put in the goal to take the lead early in the 4th and the refs stopped play right after. Not much later they called the game. Frustrating for SCAD as we wished the weather held off so we could get in a full game. Good luck to Elon and hope to see them in 2 weeks in ATL.
