in response to brick 15...the question about the calvin-dayton game...
game was close through the end of the 3rd, but dayton blew it open in the 4th, and you know how momentum goes...
dayton dominated time of possession throughout the entire game. they're a very efficient, balanced, well coached team. calvin just couldn't clear the ball or hold it on offense (one shot and done) and when you play about 50 minutes of defense in a game, you can only hold a team for so long.
props to dayton for a well played game...having watched some of the top teams from umll and wcll, i'd definitely put dayton in the top 10, if not top 5 (just to add to the controversy and fun). yeah, this conference just keeps getting tougher and tougher each year with new and improving teams - season and post season are gonna be fun

Thanks a lot. I consider this a very good win for us. Illinois is a very good team, and they are very well coached. We came out hot in the first and led 7-2 at half, but Illinois wasn't going to go down that easily. They struggled back, and kept it close for the entire game.
AJ has a great future with that program. They are young, and are going to make a run in the upcoming years. They deffinately never gave up on this game.
