Looks like Moorhead is getting a lot of games in this week... 5 in 5 days. Good luck to you.

Should be an exciting weekend of UMLL play in Ames. We're hosting 8 teams total running two fields at once. Can't wait to get the lax going!

St. John's- 2
St. Thomas- 1
Final/5 Overtimes

St. Thomas holds the lead at 1-0 for the majority of the game, but a blocked punt by St. John's in the 5th overtime goes out of the endzone and turns in to a St. John's safety and a 2-1 victory. Thrilling!

(Yes, I realize it's impossible to get to overtime if one team is winning... but it's going to happen, trust me)

Okay, that was pretty funny Dan.

Anyone going to call in live updates on the Johnnies/Tommies game to this site? It is a significant Div B game, and I've got to believe there is interest in it all around the country - especially from poll voters like me....

Cannot predict it for real because I have seen neither team play this year. I will cheer for St. John's as always.

Trivia- Can anyone remember the last year that St. Thomas beat St. John's? If you're really sharp, you'll remember the score...

I'm driving up for the game on sunday. If Dan wants me to call him and he can post updates that would be fantastic. I'll see if we can make it happen.

I truly believe in my heart of hearts that St. John's is better this year than they were last. Only losing three seniors, and replacing them all with better players is a great way to make sure that happens. I haven't seen St. Thomas play, but no matter what they will be up for the game. Because of my bias I will make no pick, but I like the Dan senario.

We're going to try to connect with a poster for both games. No promises yet.

St. Thomas- 24
St. John's- 11

Not sure when St. John's beat St. Thomas before 2003, but I'm guessing it was awhile back.
