Wake vs. FPC

Also, Wake Forest will be playing Franklin Pierce College (D2) on Wednesday night at 6pm.

The March 27 game listed above will be between Wake Forest and Stanford rather than NC State and Stanford.

Please make sure USLMDIA.org is updated and the SELC is aware of these changes.

Yes, this is news to me. Can someone from Wake, NCSU or whomever let me know ASAP who Stanford is playing, where the game is and what time? I have a few conflicting times/opponents/locations
thanks

Sorry, my mistake...

Sun March 26 - Wake vs. Stanford, NOT East Carolina vs. Stanford
Mon March 27 - NCSU vs. Stanford

The correction was supposed to be to the March 26 game, not the March 27 game. Sorry again for the confusion.

Davidson 8
NC State 7.

does anyone have the wake forest vs. franklin pierce score?

Wake Forest - 10
Franklin Pierce - 6

Up 10-3 with 4 minutes to play, Wake was able to hold of a strong push by the Ravens to pull away with the win. Thanks to FPC for making the trip down and best of luck to them the rest of the season.

This game could decide the regular season SELC champ. Any thoughts on this game? I haven't heard much about Vtech this year, how do they stack up to years past? Predictions?

Seminoles Prepare for ACC Double Header

From FSULacrosse.com

This Saturday, the Florida State Men’s Lacrosse team will put its program on display as part of an ACC Double Header in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The day will start at 1 p.m. when the North Carolina Tar Heels host the Maryland Terrapins. Immediately following that game (at approximately 3:45 p.m.), the ninth-ranked Seminoles will take on the twelfth-ranked Virginia Tech Hokies in a rematch of last year’s SELC Championship game.

Saturday will be a bit of a family affair as well. Seminole Assistant Coach Matt Waesche’s cousin is Tar Heel Head Coach John Haus. “This is a big game for us, there’s no question about that,” said Waesche, “and it’s a great opportunity for us to showcase FSU Lacrosse. On a personal level, it will be pretty special for me to be able to play right after John and his Heels. I admire him a great deal as a coach, and it’s always wonderful to spend Thanksgiving dinner with him and his family.”

The Seminoles also have ties to Maryland Head Coach Dave Cottle. Coach Cottle was a guest coach at a Florida State practice two years ago when he worked with the Seminole offense. “Coach Cottle has been very generous to our program,” said Waesche, “and we’ve gotten a lot of use out of the offensive plays and rides that he shared with us.”

On Sunday, the Seminoles will travel cross-town to Raleigh, North Carolina where they will play the NC State Wolfpack at 1 p.m.
