Yes, I went off a little. When it comes to comments from Sonny I can get defensive. He means well and so do I. New Mexico will be a member of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference and the USL MDIA in the 2006-2007 season. This year is a transition year from Club ball to the USL MDIA. We are using US Lacrosse Officials for all our games.

We look forward in having UNM's first home Lacrosse game in almost 10 Years.

All the best,

John

John,

I don't think Sonny intended any offense. Just informing people who may not know, particularly to remind poll voters (because voters can weigh MDIA vs non-MDIA games differently)

I see your point. I see a lot of Non MDIA Teams listed on the league Schedule all the time. So I don't feel it is a big issue. But I see how it could affect rankings.

It looks like nothing but good match ups this weekend. Should be a good one. Best of luck to the Rams. Wittier would be a huge win for them.

I just got off the phone with a guy from Mines, they said UNM is better then expected and Mines had a bit of an off day, but the score was 7-4, Mines

Colorado School of Mines 7 New Mexico 4

Our defense played a great game. Our Offense did not get going till the 3rd Quarter. Mines had a 5-1 lead and then our Offense kicked in a bit and we saw some good things. We got as close as 6-4 in the 4th Quarter but in the end we could not get the job done. A lot of my Guys were down about the loss. But for a Team that has 10 Players that had never played in a Lacrosse game before I was really proud of the performance today. In my mind this was a victory for confidence and what the future may hold. It was sunny and 72 degrees in Albuquerque today. This also was the first Lacrosse game played at UNM in almost 10 years. Congrats to The Colorado School of Mines Lacrosse Lacrosse program on a solid victory and thanks for coming down.

It is so good to be home.

MSU 12 USU 7

A good game overall but an early ejection and penalties hurt USU's ability to hold a lead over a suprisingly solid MSU offense.

New Mexico vs. Mines
