just a quick note- it's SCU that played chapman, not UCSC. and go ahead and delete this once you've read it- I won't be offended.

Huge win for Poly! It will be party time in SLO-town tonight. DG is not going to be happy about this.

Congrats to Coach Lea and the CPSLO players on this huge win. Man, I wish I could have my poll vote back -- it was due before 3pm today so we didn't have this result to factor in.

Nice job Poly... you boys looked real solid tonight. Attack looked just plain nasty... Tim Casey is ridiculous, and he has 2 studs (albeit short studs) to back him up when he gets shut off. Was that 5 goals tonight for Timmy?
Looks like a rather frustrating trip for BYU, they have one more game out West right?

I'm more happy that I wasn't there in person.
Big win for Poly, with potentially huge at-large implications further down the road.

Thursday @ Whittier and Saturday vs. Michigan, in San Diego.
A disappointing start, obviously, but not completely unexpected...a lot of lacrosse still to be played before everyone starts packing for Dallas.
Any idea who played in the goal for BYU tonight?

If this trend continues, we could have another year where 6 WCLL teams make the national tourney. Right now, you'd have to think that all these teams will be up in the ratings.: UCSB, Sonoma, UCSD, Arizona, Cal Poly & Chapman.

Don't think you can completely overlook Chico State either, they already have a win over #12 Utah.
I'd say the WCLL sure is loaded in 2006...

I dont want to thread-jack, but that would be almost impossible.
WCLL - 6
RMLC - 3
SELC - 2
CCLA - 2
PNCLL - 1
PCLL - 1
GRLC - 1
LSA - 1
this would only happen at the expense of Oakland or Virginia Tech. One of them would have to fall back, and no one else can be more impressive than the last WCLL team.
I do agree with Dan here though, The WCLL is STACKED this year.
