Bush is a defenseman from Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado. He is a two-time All-State selection and the captain of his high school team. He played in the Colorado All-State game and was an all-star at Top 205 camp last summer. Bush also was an all-league pick as a wide receiver for the Arapahoe football team.

"James brings excitement and athleticism to Stony Brook," said Tiffany. "He possesses outstanding speed which will give him the opportunity to compete for playing time early in his career."

Compitello will be a four-year performer at attack/midfield for Hauppauge High School in Hauppauge, N.Y. The offensive team MVP has tallied 58 goals and 37 assists in the last two seasons, earning all-division honors. He also was a member of the varsity football and basketball teams, earning all-division and all-county honors as a football player.

"Tom is an outstanding competitor who is eager to prove himself at the next level and I forsee him being an intergral member of our program," said Tiffany. "As a talented three-sport athlete in high school, he truly represents the type of recruit we look for at both attack and midfield."

"Greg has a solid face-off game and great strength," said Tiffany. "Combine that with the toughness and drive he possesses and you have a young man who we are thrilled will be wearing a Seawolf uniform."

"Chris is a focused and prepared athlete," said Tiffany. "He is a welcome addition to our team and improves our overall athleticism."

In 2004, he won all-conference honors and was voted Section XI MVP. He also garnered all-league honors during the winter track season.

"Mike is a tenacious competitor," said Tiffany. "He has a field general personality and truly understands the importance of hard work and team chemistry."
