Check the USLIA.com conferences page for a breakdown of the teams in each MDIA conference (by division):

Monmouth dropped out and is not listed on the GRLC website.
I apologize to Wheaton, I forgot to list your team in the Northeast Subdivision.
That should balance out though, subtract Monmouth and add Wheaton in the Northeast division.

I was just trying to help people see what the subdivision breakdowns in addition to the divisional breakdowns.
Every team within each subdivision will play one another once. Each subdivision will also have its own champion that will take top seeding in the GRLC playoffs.

Contact our conference commissioner, Brian Mosher, and tell him that you would like to be at the annual meeting in the fall to apply for admission to the league next year. It's too late to join this year but in order to better your chances of getting accepted you should try to field a team and set up a scrimmage game or 2 against a team that is fairly close to you....and keep in touch with the head of the conference as the season/summer goes on.

A good place to find a coach would be to check with the three post-college teams in Kansas City. You can find their contact info at:
http://www.gpll.org/
I think you'll find that you've got a bigger pool of potential coaches than the average start-up team, so that'll be a big boost to getting started.

mdunkin3@yahoo.com, and I might be able meet you up on campus.
