KU by 5
MO State
Wash U. by 16
SLU by 6......I mean no offense to Arkansas but I don't see how people are picking then to win against SLU...In my humble opinion, you should make the new guys prove themselves before picking them against an established team (and I think SLU has something to prove to teams in B this year!)

Missouri State at Harding by 1
Arkansas at Wash U

Arkansas at St. Louis by 1

Couple Comments:

While I do agree with Beckner that you should make a new team prove itself, I think that if SLU traveled UA would beat them. Since UA is on the road and playing its second game in as many days I'll give SLU the edge at home.

Kansas will be the huge favorite at Nebraska even though their traveling. If Hethcoat brings all of his boys the depth factor along gives KU the edge.

WashU is good. UA is new. Enough said about that one.

Harding v MSU... ahh the game that people will be talking about around the water cooler next week. Probably the most interesting game of the week, it puts national Div B contender HU against a newly rebuilt (from reports I've heard) MSU squad. Expect a lot of scoring as both teams lost their goalies from last year. It will be interesting to see how Harding rebounds from graduation where they lost three All Americans and several All Conference selections. Szostack (attack - HU) and Beckner (attack - MSU) will both have to play big in order to get their teams the W. Bates and Turner should have their teams ready and in order for this always entertaining battle. I'll take Harding in a nail biter at home.

11-10 harding over msu not 10-9 dont listen to jp, corbin...
at one point harding was down 7-1 in the first half with halftime score 7-2... msu's d poles had real good personal defense but having the new goalie is tough against a team whos coach preaches hitting corners... playin in the snow was kinda nice once u stopped thinkin about it... well played game by all...

Great first half by MSU, great second half by Harding. They dominated us in the 2nd half, which is clearly shown by the scores before and after half. Thanks for another great game (and my last against you all!)

I believe the reason harding offense struggled so badly in the first half was the outstanding defensive structure set up by Missouri state. I was impressed at the personal d, the slides, and even some saves that the goalie had. Keep it up guys.

Also, I believe that harding needed a chance to set in their newly structured offense. With two top scorers gone and a host of 1st year players, it was obvious that we had a full plate. I strongly believe that the next few games will show quite a spectacle when we really start to mold as a true lax offense should.
