UTA will face Trinity in Arlington on Saturday the 4th at 1:00 pm at the UTA Intramural Complex.

OU and Trinity will play at 12:00 pm on Sunday the 5th.

That game will be followed by UTA v. Austin College at 3:00 pm.

All these games will be played at the Intramural Complex on the Southeast corner of Fielder and Mitchell.

Good to see LSU back up and running, I didn't know if they were gonna have a team or not this season.

Texas State vs. Houston ... TSU very convincingly.
Baylor vs. OU ... Taking Baylor but I'm eager to see a surprise come out of Norman.
UT vs. OSU ... UT by a dozen.
UT vs. Arkansas ... I know nothing about the Arkansas squad. I'm taking UT by a few.
SMU vs. TAMU ... Thinking its gonna be a close one. SMU in the upset.

UNT vs. OSU ... UNT by 4 or 5.
LSU vs. TAMU ... TAMU convincingly.

Saturday, February 4:
Texas State vs. Houston - TSU seems to have a good squad, expect great things from them this year.
Baylor vs. OU - Baylor should win this one on experience alone
UT vs. OSU - UT should win this one without to much trouble, the beginning of a long weekend (including a fair amount of travel, and 2 good teams) for OSU
UT vs. Arkansas - same as above
SMU vs. TAMU - should be a good game, while I think A&M will take this one, SMU will be around come playoff time
Southwestern at Stephen F. Austin - Southwestern will start with a win
Trinity at UTA - UTA should take this one...they got numbers and talent whereas Trinity has always had a smaller team

Sunday, February 5:
UNT vs. OSU - UNT will take this one without to much trouble
LSU vs. TAMU - A&M should win this one convincingly
Austin College at UTA - Again another win for UTA
Trinity vs. Oklahoma - Trinity splits this weekend with a win over OU

Saturday, February 4:

Southwestern at Stephen F. Austin ... Southwestern by a handful, even though the lumberjacks, I hear, can get pretty rowdy.
Trinity at UTA (University of Texas-Arlington) ... UTA over 10. UTA's gonna come off strong after a successful season in '05 but still has room to improve.

Sunday, February 5:

Austin College at UTA ... See above, UTA by a handful.
Trinity vs. Oklahoma at UTA ... Ok so I keep pulling for the newbies (OU) and I'm thinking this is the perfect opportunity to pick up a little momentum. A nuetral site and two games under their belt (including one vs. Div. A opponent Baylor) will all work in their favor. I'm picking you guys a lot, let's see something Sooners.

Got an email from SFA yesterday and Southwestern today, there will be no game between the Pirates and the Lumberjacks tomorrow due to a deluge of rain this week on the fields at SFA.

From what I understand that this game (SFA vs. SU) will be rescheduled to February 12, 2006 at 1 pm (Sunday) at Southwestern University. I got this email from Bill Bowman.

Wanted everyone to know about that.

Well until SMU comes out with a big win I think that we have to consider it and upset. My 2 cents.

Considering they beat UT last year, and came within one goal of making the playoffs (mind you without Carrington in that game), I would say that they are legit. Besides, they played your old boys to a pretty good game last weekend. Im gonna have to go with jstoops on this one, though it pains me.

Just my two cents.
