Okay boys and girls... there's twenty seconds to go in a tie game and they have the ball twenty yards wide of the goal coming out of a timeout. Your coach assigns YOU to guard one of these A Division players. Which guy is the toughest to defend? VOTE NOW, then post and tell us why!

I don't think you're doing yourself any favors by guarding any of those players...

Does that mean you leave them unguarded, Coach?

Dan, it's an ugly situation. Some of those guys you could blanket and shut off, but others have too much speed to make it effective at all.... Nice little All-Star team you put together though...
Matty C. without a doubt

The hardest and most accurate running side arm shot in the league.
No time left in the game, give the ball to Matt and make sure not to blink.

Having guarded each of these players, I have to say that Danny is the toughest to defend one on one.

I've gone up against all of them and Danny is man child. Case in point: 2003 PNCLL Championship Game. For those of you that don't remember he single handidly scored 3 goals in the last two minutes of the game and almost scored the tieing goal had it not gone off the cup of SFU goalie Matt Johnson.

like someone said earlier pick your poison. however the my experience goes to matt connors. i have never seen a side arm shot so hard and fast on the run away from the cage. very hard to defend. my vote goes to connors.

That Coffman guys is tough from behind the cage. If he goes behind he's good for 4 out of 5.

Tipton has the best off-ball motion of all of these guys. He may not beat you one-on-one, but he sure knows how to get lost--perfect for OSU's motion offense.
The two hardest guys in the B-Division are clearly Jensen and Sadler. Jensen is a little more wirey/slippery while Sadler has crisp execution and a little more quickness. I don't know if that makes any sense at all to anyone except me so I'm going to leave it there.

Danny is the most versitile player on the entire list. He's got the one-on-one skills to break ankles left or right handed (no offense to tipton, but he mostly has only one hand), and he has the ability to draw an entire defense then thread the perfect pass. My vote goes to Danny Ernst

I don't disagree with you Tessar, he is the most versatile player in the league. Just speaking out for guys who may not get discussed that much.

No time on the clock. One on one from the outside. Matt Conners is my vote!!
