I'd like to hear everyone's opinon on whose the best goalie in the GRLC.
He who laughs last laughs loudest.
He who hits hardest hits last.

I would have to say LU's goalies. Both T.J and Silva can make big saves and clear the ball really well.

Illinois and Wash U always seem to have really solid goalies. I believe both teams had senior goalies last year, but they always seem to have someone waiting in the wings.

If Dan Callahan is still going to be in goal for Nebraska (I thought I heard something about him switching positions), he might get some votes for this. Even though we won our game against Nebraska last year, he played really well and made some very good saves.

In Division B, I think Creighton's goalie is pretty good. He made some excellent saves against us in the fall.

ya im playing attack this year. i didn't really want to play goalie last year but we didn't have anyone else, but we got a kid from colorado this year that is really good so i can play what i want and not have the team want to kill me

Illinois State's Rob Brown has to be the favorite. He is the only A division goalie that earned GRLC honors last year.

I completely forgot about Rob Brown. He was great last year, and probably should be the favorite to win 1st Team All Conference Goalie.

Bobby is an awesome goalie and is going to do really good this season, we also have 2 more goalies now, Jeff Adams and me.

I would have to rank the goalies this way -
Lindenwood (dynamic duo)
Illinois State
Illinois
Wash U
after that? Seems like a toss up

I have no clue how good he is, but Iowa has a new goalie I believe (not the one listed on the roster on the web site, still waiting for a final draft from the team). Hopefully he pans out as Iowa has lacked a goalie since Pat Shannon back in 2002 (I mean, I had to play goalie for two games at one point and that was a scary thought).
