Lets get some talk going on the division B teams for the spring season. We all know the usual suspects in the championship run, but who are some other teams that looked good in the fall or who may be a dark horse for the season? There has been a severe lack of discussion on these forums... share your thoughts/opinions!

what are some of the big weekends everybody is having this year... and how do u think the year will shape up... any teams got a lot of new guys... loose a ton of old guys?

i know that we at harding are having a big weekend march 25th for all of these arkansas people... the first ever lacrosse game between two Arkansas teams, and during the same weekend games between memphis and Arkansas and harding and memphis... this weekend is a big example of how much lacrosse is growing in the south... hoping to see a big big crowd for the first ever Arkansas vs. Arkansas lacrosse game... ever...

with WIU missing nationals by one game we are hungry, but humble because we realize that any team can face defeat at any moment. for the first time in team history we have a huge freshmen class, and actually have some promise in it. the senior leadership that we have is what we are riding on, but the support around them is probably tops in the league. the biggest weekend we have is april 1st we play creighton, a rematch from playoffs. then april 2nd we play auggie, which with NIU leaving they have now become our rival grudge match. really looking forward to see what this year brings. with division B growing each year the chances of one team dominating is never going to happen. with that brings great competition. it shall be a great year

For the record, it is Augustana College and we are looking forward to competing in our third GRLC season.

Down here in Rolla we are ready to go. We are scrimmaging Lindenwood's B team on the 25th after they have an A game. We lost a few to graduation but have a lot of young guys. For once most of them stuck around. Personally Im disappointed that we only get 2 games in Rolla. It would help our program if more people came and watched.

thats true for most of the B division teams. None of us have that great a fan base. But luckily we have most our games here this year, with the exception of the crossover tournament.

They're pretty rowdy too......and sober which is a weird combination compared to most places.

Doesn't Dordt usually have a good fan base for their games?

UST went down to play Dordt in an absolute shoot-out last year, and they put on a pretty good show. Lots of fans and a pretty nice atmosphere.

against sms in the snow and cold there was about 100 fans... about 100 more would have come if they knew that there was gonna be seating... makes for a fun atmosphere that most division b teams dont get to see til playoffs or nationals... we got nothing better to do here... seriously...

Arkansas is getting the word out locally for the games here. We had 130 fans for the rolla game. Next season, if we get more home games, we could see that number grow significantly.

Ya and they are pretty intense. It makes for a fun game to play with those Harding fans yellin and hollerin'. Also, not to totally make them sound rough, they are very respectful, clapping for an Arkansas player when he came of the field after gettin a tough hit to the head. Props to Hardings team and fans.

We appreciate that. I worry about our fans sometimes... We had a great time playing you guys at home. Look forward to returning the favor. I'm also very excited to see how you look next year, your record doesn't come close to showing how good you are...tough schedule. Any thoughts on when you'll jump to A?

Division Status

about going to the A division, I do not really get to handle that, but I think we might try and stay B for a season longer. It has been a fun and very tough season and A might be too big of a step in one year. B is challenging enough and every team here has been a fun game to play, win or lose, but either way we need to keep the Harding vs. U of A game to spur an in state competition.
