Boys’ Latin Senior Commits to Michigan State

Spartans get first verbal commitment for Fall 2006 recruiting class

East Lansing, MI – December 6, 2005 - The Michigan State Men’s Lacrosse team and head coach Matt Holtz received their first verbal commitment for the fall 2006 recruiting class. Midfielder Max Carrion announced on December 1, 2005 his intentions to attend Michigan State in the fall. Carrion is the first recruit for Michigan State from Maryland. He attended Boys’ School of Maryland, a top 5 national program.

He's a tough kid... I think he can handle it. :)

Incidently, he's a hockey goalie... I don't know about you, but I'd never get between the pipes in any sport. Well, maybe soccer.

Maryland/MSU?

Are you sure he is the first Maryland recruit for MSU? I thought you guys had varsity in like '78. I remember a guy named Higbyl or something.

For the "Club" team. I'm sure there were plenty from MD back in the "Varsity" daysl
