Monmouth College NOT to join GRLC B Division in 2006???

This is the email I recieved earlier this evening from Matt Konecke, president, Monmouth College lacrosse:

I regret to inform everyone that Monmouth College will be unable to join the GRLC. We will be unable to pay our dues, and there is very little commitment. We had several people that said they were committed, and they wanted to play. However, we have not had more than five people show up to any practice, and most of my teammates were not willing to pay team dues. For those of you that had a game scheduled against us I am very sorry, and I feel very bad about taking a game away from you. Once again I am sorry for wasting your time at the fall meeting, and misleading everyone. I wish the best of luck to everyone on the upcoming season.
