I know Chico and Noma don't really talk on here, so I figured I would say something. Anyone have any thoughts on how this weekend will go. It is pool play and then there is a second third place game and a championship game. One pool is Oregon, Noma, and Nevada-Reno. The other pool is Chico, Davis, and Santa Clara. Should be a good fun weekend, and I know we are just excited to get some In and Out and play some lacrosse in this thing called the sun, it is supposed to be pretty nice from what I hear.

I saw the Chico results. What happened between Oregon and SSU?

the oregon and ssu game was a good one to watch, both teams were fast and let rip some great shots, Noma ended up winning 6-3. Oregon looked good but in my opinion had a problem with something they have had a problem with in the past couple of seasons, taking care of the ball. They had some balls they threw away and some that were picked off in transition, but overall they look like a fast strong team.

As a player in the game for Oregon, I thought we ran with Noma in the first half and half of the second half, if not out-running them. We failed to convert many fastbreak opportunities which is something i'm sure we will work on. The score was 1-0 Oregon at half. Noma came out hot in the second half scoring two quick goals to go up 2-1. Then Oregon took back the lead scoring two goals. From here, Oregon's d started to make some mental mistakes which allowed Noma to score 4 unanswered goals, most of which came late when Oregon was trying desperatly to score on the offensive side. I know for a fact we had Sonoma scared. I can't wait till we get to play them during the spring.

Not too sure about having 'Noma scared, it is only fall ball. Both teams are probably nowhere near their peaks, so to say you have someone scared in the fall is meaningless. Maybe if this was at Nationals then yes you may have had them scared but not in November.
