Sweet.
Team is getting better though, we just need to train a goalie.

Put Lawler in there, he's already a jack of all trades...

It seems that we have our goalie situation all worked out with freshman Mitch Davis (Chaska HS in Minn.), but the attack lines present a serious issue. I clearly remember playing Saint Thomas this fall down 1-0 going into halftime. Our defense could hardly have done a better job, yet we still couldn't score and not surprisingly, we lost.
Hopefully our upcoming games vs. Calvin College and Ferris State overload the attackmen and get them geared up for the UMLL spring season.
P.S. Noah, Lawler was the dman who switched over to middy, hailing from Waunakee...he certainly had talent, wish he didn't quit.
By the way, Coach Douglas, how's Waunakee looking this season? I played with Verona through highschool, and from what I hear there are some some big changes with regards to MALA this year.

AG, "bad" is just a point of view. I suppose i'll consider them good when we can stop relying on our middies to score. There are just too many inconsistencies that worry the hell out of me.
You want me to run it up more?? Seeing as how umll.org lists me with 2.29 goals per game/as the leading UWEC scorer, there's not much more I can do.
Btw, we need to fix that umll.org thing.

How is Ryan playing for you, I helped coach Mankato last year and he was our work horse at midfield. When I watched him play the kid never slowed down, but your team did look better from last year.

Ryan is really talented. It's sweet relief for a defenseman to see a middie dig out a ground ball and turn it into a fast break, which always a realism with Ryan. His motor is always running, and he matches it with smarts on the field. Yeah, he's pretty good.
