Jake

The PNCLL went to a master scheduler this year, Dave Schmitz of Whitman College. Every team was to submit a list of dates available to play conference games. Dave is now compiling all of that information and making league schedules for both the A and B divisions. Teams also have a number of out of conference trips planned throughout the season. As such teams do not know right now what dates are open for play. I am sure once the schedule is released you may get some takers.

Jake-

As I mentioned to you at the league meeting, I'd be happy to have some scrimmages with you and the fellas form WSU. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to line something up. Maybe one in the fall (like Chris Shogan mentions) would be good!

Let me know. rkladis@gonzaga.edu

BTW...is there any kind of ETA on those schedules? I know Dan is working his butt off, and I'm definitily not pushing, just wondering.

Once a draft schedule has been made, teams I am sure will have alternate solutions for their own liking. But I am confident the executive board will minimize the amount of changes made to those that make obvious sense and quash those that are simply for the benefit of one team. Look for the final schedule to come out within a month, probably sooner.

Its Dave not Dan making the schedule.

Eastern Washington teams

Postby TheNino57 on Sun Oct 23, 2005 8:41 pm

Maybe some of the Eastern Washington (CWU, Gonzaga, WSU, and Whitman) teams could get together for a last chance round-robin sometime in November? Anyone interested in setting something up?

Oct. 30th or Nov. 6th

Postby kladis on Sun Oct 23, 2005 9:52 pm

If any teams want to come out to Spokane on October 30th OR November 6th, I have a turf field reserved for both days that we could use. If 2 teams want to come the same day, then we'll do a little round-robin and get each team 2 games. If just 1 team wants to come, then we'll just play them. I think anything would be very helpful for any team! It will get dark here at about 5 now with Daylight Savings, so plan for games going no later than 4 p.m. (which would be perfect to allow for travel home than night) I'm flexible for game times as well.

I was thinking games that would have something like 20 running quarters but I'm open for another format.

If any team is interested, let me know a.s.a.p. and I'll get something set.

CWU wants in. UW wants to get something going either in Spokane or Ellensburg. If so, make it happen, that's 4 teams that want in this thing, Rick!

(UW- If something gets set up in Spokane, you could probably crash in Ellensburg. I bet our guys would host you for a night or two.)
