Here's our second poll topic for 2005, looking ahead to saturdays league-opener between visiting Pacific Lutheran of the B Division-North and host Simon Fraser of the A division. NOTES: The Lutes are one of only three PNCLL teams to ever record a league victory (in 2002) over the Clansmen. SFU beat PLU 23-6 in 2004.
Let's see if we can get some more votes this time! Remember, your Moderator here is in Washington State, where felons and the deceased are welcome and encouraged to step up to the ballot box.

I haven't seen either team this year or heard much of either, but I can't see this game being close from past experience. both teams are probably ready to get this season started and i am sure the clan wants to make up for its shameful loss in the PNCLL finals last year with a win over a league team

PLU all the way!!!
I have full confidence that PLU is going to be ready for the season opener. With games against the Clan and Oregon right off the bat, you can readily expect them to set an upbeat tempo and to come out firing.

i think we are going to shock a lot of people this year. PLU is TEAM this year. last we had a down year and were lead by superstars...this year we have a more mature and balanced team...a full attack team coming back...a great yound middie class coming up and D poles who like to strap it on and git er done. look for PLU to have a good year and represent the B division PNCLL well.
